Being Stavros

Short Film: Stavros is looking for love. In a bid to find it he makes an unusual move – entering the 'Mr Gay UK' beauty pageant, a showcase for some of Britain's hottest men. Only problem is, at 30 stone (420 pounds), Stavros weighs 3 times as much as his competitors. Screening at “Rainbow Shorts” at the Ludlow Fringe Festival 2015

LGBT History Month 2013 – 365 without 377

Each year we have a special screening in February to mark LGBT History Month. This year we bring you a short and feature film featuring India. Doors open at 7pm with the first film at 7:30pm. Why not bring an Indian takeaway and join the organisers in the lounge for some food.

Summerstorm

Sunday 14th October 2012 – 8pm, The Old Market Hall. A story of first love and coming out which also touches the subject of the perception of the homosexual community from others.

Romeos

Sunday 14th October 2012 – 4.30pm, The Old Market Hall. An extremely well made and touching film which shows a person in mid-transition dealing with all their relationships – family, friends and romance.

Wish Me Away

Sunday 14th October 2012 – 1.30pm, The Old Market Hall. Chely Wright: Wish Me Away tells the story of one very brave Nashville music star, who was the first of her kind to come out as gay.

The Son and Heir

Sunday 13th October 2012 – 10.30pm, The Hive. A short documentary that portrays the painful steps that a gay man from the Middle East has to confront for being homosexual.

Weekend

Saturday 13th October 2012 – 8pm, The Old Market Hall. A sweet, British film that explores the need for acceptance not just from other people but from one self.
