Synopsis

Royal Intelligence Ministry agent, Jayson Bend, teams up with a Swiss agent to try and stop the launch of a satellite that will turn the owner of the largest global hair salon chain into one of the most powerful men in the world.
We are also delighted that the director Matt Carter will also be in attendance to answer questions following the screening.

Matt Carter (Director)

Matt Carter (Director)


Producer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor, Composer, Visual Effects Artist.
Matt Carter grew up in both Bournemouth on the British South Coast and in the French Alps. From an early age he became involved in filmmaking, photography, editing, music and specifically computer animation. Producing numerous short CGI animated films before attending Bournemouth University to formally study Computer Animation. He has worked in a multitude of visual effects, animation and production companies as a Lead 3D Visual Effects artist and Compositor, with work ranging from film to broadcast and commercials. He has worked on a number of feature films including ‘Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1’ and ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader’ and has completed work for clients such as the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, National Geographical and the Discovery Channel. After founding his independent film production company ‘Take A Seat Pictures’, he commenced his Directing and Producing debut with ‘Jayson Bend: Queen and Country’. In addition he used his extensive musical background to compose and record the 46 minute orchestral original soundtrack and the film’s titular track ‘Queen and Country’.
Jayson Bend Queen & Country was previously screened in 2014 at our first RFF+ event in Ludlow.  RFF+ refers to our screenings we hold across Shropshire throughout the year, making the film festival a truly “Shropshire” event.
