Ryan, 18 and out and proud is choosing her University. Does she play safe, pursue adventure or surprise everyone? This refreshing concept film, plays with the idea of destiny, posing three scenarios based on different life choices in the style of 'Sliding Doors'.
The Film's director Heather Tobin will be joining us after the film for a Q&A. Heather is a Canadian Independent Filmmaker, and owner of “To Each Her Own Films”. She wrote, edited and directed 'Route of Acceptance', screening at this year's Rainbow Film Festival – one stop on its world festival circuit. So far it has played at over 20 international film festivals and won the award for Best Director at the Out Film Festival in Connecticut.
Her first feature length drama “To Each Her Own” – a heartfelt lesbian coming out story – played at over 50 festivals around the world winning awards such as Best Lesbian Drama at the Long Island NY's Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, Best First Feature at Toronto's Inside Out Gay and Lesbian Festival, an audience 1st Runner Up award for Best Film at the South Texas Underground Film Festival, Bronze Plaque at the 56th Christopher Columbus Award Ohio & 1st Runner Up for Best Feature at the Great Lakes International Independent Film Festival. Of interest to Shropshire's Equal Marriage Campaign, Heather has also made a feature length documentary on same-sex marriage entitled “I Do?”
